At SummerSlam 1994, Ted DiBiase brought out his own “Undertaker,” while Paul Bearer insisted he had the real Deadman. The two finally collided — and Bearer’s Undertaker won after three Tombstone Piledrivers.

Only in 1994. 😂

At SummerSlam 1989, actor Tom “Tiny” Lister reprised his Zeus character from No Holds Barred and teamed with Randy Savage against Hulk Hogan & Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake.

The Hogan-Zeus movie rivalry had officially spilled straight into WWE storylines. 🎬➡️🤼

Filming ran August 27–29, 1956, and the short was released April 18, 1957.

😐 PUDDY’S DEBUT CAUSED TROUBLE AT HOME

Patrick Warburton debuted as David Puddy in 1995’s “The Fusilli Jerry.”

Warburton later told Howie Mandel that after the episode aired, his father sent him a six-page letter explaining how disappointed he was with the role.

Fortunately for Seinfeld fans, Warburton came back.

That unmistakable Seinfeld theme?

It was actually re-created to fit Jerry’s monologue for each episode.

Composer Jonathan Wolff built the music around the rhythm of Jerry’s speech, allowing the bass, finger snaps and mouth sounds to stop, start and hit around punchlines.

So the familiar theme you know was constantly changing.

The short was shot over four days, August 24–28, 1945, and released March 29, 1946.

Moe & Larry join the Union Army. Curly joins the Confederates.

25 years ago this week, Kurt Angle delivered one of the funniest paybacks of the Attitude Era.

On Raw on August 20, 2001, during “Stone Cold” Steve Austin Appreciation Night, Angle drove a milk truck into the arena and absolutely drenched Austin and The Alliance with gallons of milk. 😂

The Olympic Milk Bash remains an all-time classic.

🏙️ BEHIND THE SETS

The New York of Seinfeld was largely being created thousands of miles away in California.

Production designer Thomas Azzari helped build hundreds of sets for the series. He recalled that after repeatedly showing Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David his designs, Larry eventually told him:

“We trust you.”

Azzari helped make that sitcom soundstage feel like its own little corner of Manhattan.

At WrestleMania VII in 1991, Randy Savage had just lost his career-ending match to Ultimate Warrior when Sensational Sherri turned on him.

Then Miss Elizabeth jumped the railing, rushed to Savage’s aid, and reunited with the Macho Man as the crowd erupted. ❤️

Savage lifting Elizabeth onto his shoulders while fans openly cried remains one of the most emotional images in WWE history.

One of Seinfeld’s best endings wasn’t supposed to happen.

At the end of “The Parking Garage,” Kramer finally finds the car…then it refuses to start.

That engine failure was real. The scripted ending had them drive away, but when the old car wouldn’t start, the production kept the take.
